Executive coaching platform Reboot raises seed funding
Reboot, a Singapore-based startup that aims to provide executive coaching at a fraction of typical costs, has raised S$1 million (US$738,000) in a seed funding round.
Costing S$400 (US$295) per user per month, each user starts by filling out a 10-minute assessment to identify their strengths and weaknesses. They’re then matched with suitable coaches on the platform, all of whom are certified by the International Coach Federation and have seven to 10 years of corporate and coaching experience.

One-to-one video coaching sessions, each lasting 45 minutes, are then scheduled with each person on a bi-weekly basis “to discuss, suggest, track and improve upon personal and career goals,” the startup says.
Reboot’s coaches typically charge US$500 to US$700, says co-founder Urvashi Gupta. Reboot can charge lower rates because it takes away “all of the administrative headaches for [the coaches] on sourcing clients, scheduling, invoicing, and billing,” she adds.
Founded two years ago, Reboot is used by employees at ten companies, including Visa, Youtube, GMO, Deliveroo, Nestle, Visa, and Keysight Technologies.
One of the startup’s advisors is Henrik Bresman, who is an associate professor of organizational behavior at business school INSEAD. Joining Gupta as co-founder is Dipika Chopra.
Reboot plans to raise a series A round next year.
