
As we approach the end of 2014, we can see that the year has been a monumental one for China’s leading startups. Several of them, such as Momo, a popular flirting app, have followed ecommerce titan Alibaba and metamorphosed into major corporations after IPOs on Wall Street.
So let’s look at 13 of the largest remaining startups in China to see how much money they’ve raised and what kind of valuation they hold right now. As you can see from the infographic (which is based on an article we wrote a few months ago about China’s top startups), they run the gamut from taxi apps to gadgets to ecommerce. They’re a diverse and exciting bunch, and a few are likely candidates to head to IPO next year.
Updated – January 10, 2015: Note that Xiaomi’s valuation now stands at a whopping $45 billion after its recent $1.1 billion financing round.
