Merak Ventures was co-founded by Manu Rikhye and Sheetal Bahl, who are also partners at GrowX ventures. Over the next three to four years, Merak aims to invest in up to 20 startups and is targeting seed-stage, B2B, and emerging technology companies.

Though the fund aims to remain sector-agnostic, it will focus on investment themes including climate tech, insurtech, and enterprise software as a service (SaaS).

According to Rikhye, Merak’s goal is to work with founders who want to solve real-world problems, offering capital and mentor-partner collaborations.

The Delhi-based VC firm will also provide support in strategy, business development, and fundraising to investee startups.
