BintanGo expands into live commerce with $2.2m raise

BintanGo, which provides tools for digital content creators in Indonesia, has raised US$2.2 million in a seed extension round joined by Investible, Contents Technologies, and other investors.
This brings its total funds raised to US$4.8 million so far. The startup closed a US$500,000 pre-seed round in June 2021 and a US$2.1 million seed round in April 2022.
With the latest investment, BintanGo plans to extend its services to live commerce platforms, said CEO and co-founder Jason Lee in a statement. Currently, the company provides productivity and monetization tools as well as financial solutions to content creators.

BintanGo aims to become a live-commerce enabler across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Shopee, and YouTube. The company said it operates 15 live commerce studios in Central Jakarta.
Lee told Tech in Asia that BintanGo has onboarded over 75,000 creators since its launch in September 2021. In the past 12 months, these creators have been paid a total of over US$2.3 million on the platform.
