Prior to joining Pismo, Dudeja spent over 13 years working in the payments and banking industry across Asia. Most recently, he was the vice president and regional head of business development at MatchMove, a Singapore-headquartered fintech startup.
In his new position, Dudeja will be responsible for driving Pismo’s expansion strategy in the region.
The appointment comes two months after the firm launched its operations in Asia with an office in Singapore and a partnership announcement with OneConnect, a local technology-as-a-service provider.
“Varun will be championing our sustainable growth model, putting flexibility and reliability at the forefront of our services in banking-as-a-service and cloud for core processing for banks and fintech alike,” said Vishal Dalal, CEO of Pismo North America, Asia Pacific, and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region.
Established in 2016, Pismo offers an all-in-one, cloud-native processing platform for banking, payments, and financial markets infrastructure. The company is headquartered in Sao Paulo and expanded to Europe and the US in 2021.
