Founded in August last year, Fita allows users to log their meals, step counts, or exercises, and get rewards from those activities. The company also provides premium features such as exclusive exercise plans, direct communication with coaches, and the ability to get more rewards.
Fita was established by Reynazran Royono, who also founded consumer analytics firm Snapcart. According to Royono, he has left the executive position at his previous startup and is focused on Fita.
Royono told Tech in Asia that he is already in talks for potential investment and partnerships with several parties. However, he added that there is no rush to raise a new round of funding soon.
Fita currently has 1.8 million registered users and 500,000 monthly active users. At the time of writing, it ranks sixth among the free health and fitness apps for Indonesia on Google Play, and it is the only local app in the top 10, according to Data.ai.
