Bubble tea is big in Singapore, and it’s about to get bigger. MapleSEA players in Singapore can cash in on an exclusive Gong Cha bubble tea MapleStory collaboration this festive season from February 1 to February 28, 2014 by simply snapping photos of their bubble tea cups’ seals and posting them online.
There are four different MapleSEA Gong Cha cup seals, and posting all four with the hashtag #maplegongcha will give the poster a chance to win Chinese New Year-themed in-game rewards. These rewards are tiered, so even posting one cup seal will give you a chance to win, albeit a lesser reward than someone who posts all four. Don’t forget to follow Gong Cha on Instagram at @gongchasg because you must be a follower to be eligible to win.
If you don’t want those extra calories, you can simply take a creative in-game screenshot and submit it to Gong Cha’s special contest app. The app is the vehicle for what is basically a popularity contest, so get your friends liking your photo as soon as you can. Unfortunately it looks like you have to drink Gong Cha anyway, as the Facebook contest simply rewards you with… Gong Cha drink vouchers.
