Singapore-headquartered Antler, an early-stage VC firm, has committed to investing in 30 Indonesia-based companies in 2023.
Since expanding to the archipelago in 2021, Antler has financed 25 startups. Its Indonesian portfolio spans 16 sectors, including fintech with Brick, healthtech with CareNow and Healthpro, and edtech with Academix and Eduku.
The firm is launching its Jakarta-based 10-week founder residency program, which will begin in June and also accept pre-idea and pre-seed firms.
Investing from “day zero,” Antler helps founders form teams, develop their ideas, and secure initial capital. To date, the firm has received over 4,000 applications for its inaugural Indonesian program.
