Product Hunt is quickly becoming a global phenomenon and enabling startups to be discovered cross-border. Specifically, it has also been gaining a loyal following in Southeast Asia.
One SEA-made product that has done particularly well on Product Hunt is Mail to Self, a simple iOS extension to mail notes to yourself from any app. After it got posted, it quickly rose to the top of most upvoted products of the day, driving thousands of new installs. But it didn’t stop there. Being on top of Product Hunt also garnered the attention of Mashable, which wrote a short story on the app, driving even more downloads.

Like many major tech ecosystems, Singapore also has its own Product Hunt Meetup (full disclosure: Pie is organiser of the event). The Product Hunt Singapore community is a fast-growing bunch of passionate product peeps. The meetup is all about sharing learnings on building the best, most elegant products with the goal of helping the ecosystem build higher quality, more delightful products.
