Asia Partners eyes $600m fundraise for SEA fund

Asia Partners, a Singapore-based growth equity firm, is looking to raise US$600 million for its second Southeast Asia-focused fund, AVCJ reported.

Tech in Asia has reached out to Asia Partners for comment.

In its first fund, Asia Partners I LP, the firm raised US$384 million.

Asia Partners invests in startups with ticket sizes ranging from US$20 million to US$100 million, which commonly lies within the series C or series D rounds of investments.

The firm was founded in 2019 by Nicholas Nash, Oliver Minho Rippel, Jill Cheong Hsi Min, Vorapol Supanusonti, Pitra Harun, and Kien Nguyen.

Asia Partners’ current portfolio of seven startups – which include RedDoorz, Carsome, and Doctor Anywhere – lies across four Asian markets. In June, the equity firm led ShopBack’s US$80 million series F funding round.
