Singapore edtech startup raises seed funding from Nest Tech

Singapore-based edtech startup Kalpha has raised a six-figure amount in a seed funding round from venture capital fund Nest Tech.

The startup’s mobile app allows people to discover, connect, and meet up with one another to learn and share skills, knowledge, and real-life experiences. Users can arrange for one-to-one or face-to-face sharing sessions through the platform at their own convenience.

Kalpha caps the price for each session at S$80 (US$59) to encourage people to share their knowledge and skills in a budget-friendly manner.

Currency converted from Singapore dollar. Rate: US$1 = S$1.36
