JustCo appoints former Mapletree exec as CFO

“Co-working operator JustCo has appointed Loke Huey Teng as its chief financial officer to helm its finance, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) functions,” reported The Business Times.

Details:

  • As part of Loke’s new role, she will work with JustCo’s executive leadership team to make the finance, capital markets, and M&A functions a “competitive advantage” for the company.
  • The management change is also in line with the company’s long-term expansion goals. “Her vast experience in capital markets and the real estate industry are particularly compelling factors in our decision to invite her to join JustCo on this transformation journey,” said JustCo CEO Kong Wan Sing.

Context:

  • Before making the shift to JustCo, Loke was the CFO at Mercatus Co-operative, the real estate unit of National Trades Union Congress.
  • She has also held executive roles at Mapletree Industrial Trust and Mapletree Logistics Trust, besides serving as the CFO of Mapletree Commercial Trust.
