IT Security Analyst L2 - Insurance Industry

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Analyst or Cybersecurity role, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, system administration, operating systems, and security technologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend appropriate solutions.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including:

SIEM

IDS/IPS

Endpoint Protection / EDR

Vulnerability Management

Experience in performing security assessments, penetration testing, and security incident investigation.

Knowledge or experience in forensic analysis is preferred.

Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 or later.

Experience performing Windows Server patching and patch management, including patch deployment and troubleshooting.

Experience using third-party patch management tools is preferred.

Ability to analyze security alerts, system logs, and security events to identify potential threats and security incidents.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Experience in a corporate or enterprise security environment is preferred.

Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
