Here’s a clever photo app coming from Cybozu StartUps in Japan. DrCrop is billed as a ‘social photomontage service’ now available for Android smartphones.
The application allows the user to take parts multiple photographs and create fun new composite photographs. The examples provided by Cybozu are a little off-the-wall, typically with unusual or humorous objects overlaid on top of your regular picture. There’s a very playful DrCrop promo video below that will give you a better idea of how the app works.
A Cybozu representative tells us that users will be able to ‘like’ and ‘favorite’ the photo parts that you enjoy most, or even share them on Twitter.
For now, DrCrop is only available in the Android Market, but the company hopes to have an iPhone application in May. Learn more about it at DrCrop.com
