Called Plus by GoTo, the feature will also have exclusive benefits from GoTo Group’s strategic partners. These include discounts for medicine and doctor consultations through Halodoc, stream vouchers for the Vidio app, and prioritized service from Tokopedia Care.
Tokopedia said it looks to add more benefits with upcoming partner launches. The company also aims to expand the service to more regions and introduce it to other parts of the GoTo ecosystem, said Gabriella Kawilarang, head of product at Tokopedia.
Plus by GoTo will start at 150,000 rupiah (a little over US$10) for six months during the service’s promotional period.
The announcement marks the latest in GoTo Group’s efforts to expand its ecosystem. Earlier this month, the company launched online food delivery service GoFood on the Tokopedia app. The integration also allowed for payments using the GoPay e-wallet within the ecommerce arm’s platform.
