In brief: SoftBank mulls IPO for $100b Vision Fund
- Japanese multinational conglomerate SoftBank Group is considering an initial public offering of its US$100 billion Vision Fund, Bloomberg reports.
- The IPO would give the fund’s investors a way to cash out part or all of their stakes.
- The fund, which was set up in 2017, is also looking into the option of a direct listing rather than a traditional IPO, according to an undisclosed source.
