Is Dance Party for Apple TV India's answer to Ubisoft's Just Dance Now?

While Just Dance may be all the rage, it seems that Ubisoft has competition in the form of Dance Party for Apple TV. Created by India-based Rolocule Games, it negates the need of a console to get your groove on in front of a big screen.

With the studio’s Rolomotion tech, raw data from your iOS devices’ sensors is converted into precise natural gestures that are relayed to the Apple TV. But you won’t be dancing alone. You can connect up to four iPhones to dance together in local multiplayer and online dance-offs. And if you’re health conscious, it tracks how many calories you burn in a session of dancing. Check out the trailer here:

The difference between Dance Party for Apple TV and Just Dance Now is that the former needs Apple TV to operate, while the latter simply works with a connecting screen, possibly negating the need for any peripheral to get your moves on. However we’re still sometime away from seeing how Ubisoft’s attempt at taking its series to mobile, and Dance Party for Apple TV is out now.
