Betafi, a Singapore-based user research platform, has raised US$1.3 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Together Fund, Entrepreneur First, and Titan Capital.
Prominent writer Nir Eyal, as well as founders from Razorpay, Pine Labs, Snapdeal, and Livspace, also participated in the round.

Founded last year, Betafi is a platform that can help product teams conduct user interviews and usability tests to validate their ideas, designs, websites, and apps. Through the platform, developers can capture insights from user conversations and share them with other teams.
Betafi integrates this service with the existing tools product teams currently use, including Zoom, Miro, Figma, and Adobe XD.
The company was established by former Singtel executive Arjun Arora and former Stripe software engineer Ethan Sherbondy. The founders launched Betafi in September of this year. Since then, users have conducted more than 1,500 hours of feedback calls on the platform, the firm said.
“User research is still a manual process and involves a fair amount of logistics. We want to take the busy work out of the process so you focus on what is truly important – uncovering insights,” Arora said in a statement.
