It’s a sad day for Japan and the world. We could monitor the aftermath of Japan quake via Twitter, Sina Weibo, Youku and Google. On Facebook, somehow, the world unites to say prayers.
I randomly made a search on Facebook and was pleasantly surprised to see the real-time search stream (of prayers) running fast for ‘Japan’. Well, as the disaster struck and communication became hard, I’m thankful to learn that my friends in Japan are finally safe and sound.
One of them told me there were more than “200 people dead.” LA Times reported that death toll is likely to pass 1,000. Let’s pray that the figure stays low.
