1. Plattar | Australia

Plattar wants to be a website that lets you make, manage, and distribute augmented reality (AR) content. It consists of two parts: an app builder that comes with customizable templates, and a content management system for AR content. The startup plans to charge customers a monthly fee to use this product, and it provides bespoke services for larger projects.


2. CaterSpot | Hong Kong (Startup Profile)

Online catering platform CaterSpot helps connect people with local catering options, claiming to have over 1,000 catering menus from a highly curated list of restaurants and other companies.


3. 1mg | India (Startup Profile)

1mg lets users look up information about medicine, find cheaper substitutes, and order what they’d like online.


4. Rekruta | Indonesia (Startup Profile)

Rekruta aims to make hiring a breeze for companies. It built a full suite that’s meant to help businesses manage their roster of job candidates by automating most of the hiring process. For instance, its product has an email syncing and Chrome extension options that allow you to source candidates and automatically respond to every submitted application.


5. mPaani | India

mPaani is a startup that provides loyalty points to customers. It rewards customers when they complete common transactions, like buying things at local kirana stores (small businesses) or recharging their phones. Points can then be used to buy impactful products like water filters, or to pay for school.


6. Meucci | Israel (Startup Profile)

Meucci is an app that provides free group calling even over 2G networks. There’s no limit to the amount of people the app can support for a group call and only the caller needs to have the app installed on his or her phone to initiate the conversation.
