Indian fintech firm Razorpay eyes up to $250m in funding from Tiger Global, others

“Fintech unicorn Razorpay is in talks with large global funds to raise US$200 million to US$250 million at a valuation of around US$4 billion,” reported Mint, citing sources.

Details:

  • The India-based payment platform is reportedly in discussions with Tiger Global, Coatue Management, D1 Capital Partners, DST Global, Dragoneer Investment Group, and Falcon Edge Capital
  • Razorpay’s valuation shot up to US$3 billion earlier this year after a US$160 million funding round co-led by Sequoia and GIC.
