Details:

  • Funds raised from the financing round will be used to expand the company’s team for school and corporate customers, as well as accelerate international user growth.
  • Quizizz claimed that it engages over 60 million monthly active users, and that it is used in over 65% of schools in the US.

Context:

  • The India-based edtech firm helps teachers create interactive lessons through gamified quizzes that generate instant student feedback.
  • This development comes amid a strong growth in the global edtech market, accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic that has forced students to study from home.
