500 Global selects 20 startups for Taiwan accelerator
500 Global, a US-based VC firm, has announced its second cohort of startups for the demo day of its accelerator program, which will be held in Taiwan this year, in collaboration with Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA), a deep tech startup ecosystem.

On October 28, 20 early-stage startups will present themselves to a curated global audience of industry stakeholders, corporate leaders, and partners. They have already developed prototypes with early traction, 500 Global said.
Out of 200 applications, 12 startups from Taiwan and eight from overseas were selected. The latter hail from Hong Kong, Korea, the US, the UK, Malaysia, Canada, and Indonesia. The firms have undergone comprehensive training, mentorship, and networking events over a period of eight weeks.
Startups in the cohort include:
- AlleyPin: a startup that provides digital technologies and marketing solutions that empower clinics to succeed in digital transformation.
- Areix (Ola Wealth): an investment app with a Web3 trading platform built for novice traders.
- BeautyFact: a social ecommerce marketplace with customized skincare solutions powered by its community.
- Blueberry Tech: an integrated retail app for SMB retailers to run offline, online, and social media sales channels.
- Bricks: a low-code/no-code platform for building interactive apps with real-time data integration on digital signage and kiosks.
- Earthgen Tech: a startup that aims to solve the problem of pesticide spraying with drones.
- Fairphonic: a digital-rights management solution empowering music rights holders to detect, analyze, and optimize digital royalties’ income.
- Fanagment (Fanddle): a global ecommerce platform that connects fans and celebrities.
- Firstory: a startup that enables individual podcasters to scale their business.
- Imgoodie: a company that aids organizers in managing group events.
- Guidoor, a mobile app for creating NFT business cards.
- HomeXin: a marketplace that connects patients and families to on-demand caregiving services.
- Hunger: a digitalization software for the beauty industry.
- Jmem tek: a cybersecurity firm focused on IoT.
- Labfront: a digital biomarkers software as a service that helps health researchers collect and analyze real-world physiological data from wearable devices.
- SCiKET: a marketplace for science and tech supplies.
- Seekrtech: a startup that helps people struggling to focus through guides and incentives via gamification.
- Sustaihub: a company that helps listed companies collect and coordinate environmental, social, and governance data with an integrated management system.
- Wallet Codes: a one-stop platform for gamers to buy digital vouchers.
- We Play Sport: an app that helps grassroots sports teams win more through automated match video capture, statistical analysis, and shareable highlights.
500 Global has US$2.7 billion in assets under management. The company has backed over 5,000 founders representing more than 2,700 companies operating in 81 countries.
