If you’re a startup in Indonesia, listen up. You might want to join SparXup Awards 2010, a web competition event for digital startups in Indonesia. There are 8 categories to compete in and prizes include Google AdWords credits, prize money and coaching. The Award night will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 6th of November.
Sparx Up Award Categories
1. Best Social Networking Site
2. Best Mobile
3. Best Use of Technology
4. Best e Commerce
5. Best Games
6. Best User Generated Content
7. Best Portal
8. Best WAP
Criteria
Must fulfill minimum of two:
1. Website’s participants is not under big brand/ big company
2. Has been operating for less than 3 years
3. Has less than 20 staffs and workers
4. Income is less than Rp. 1 billion (SGD 150K, USD 11K) per annum
Prizes
– Every participants get $50 adwords credit from Google.
– 24 finalists will get $500 adwords credit, IDR 500.000 Kaskus Ad credit
– 1st Winner (Rising Star) gets IDR 150.000.000 cash prize (paid for in 6 months, @ 25 mil), $1000 adwords credits, coaching for 6 months, IDR 500.000 kaskus ad credit
– 2nd winner (most promising startup) gets IDR 50.000.000 (paid for in 2 months, @ 25mil), $1000 adwords credit, 6 months coaching and IDR 500.000 kaskus ad credit
