I’m Grace Teo, Tech in Asia’s intern and generative AI enthusiast
Hello everyone! My name is Grace Teo and I’m thrilled to have joined Tech in Asia as an intern for a few months.
I’ve always been fascinated by the tech scene in Asia and how it’s constantly innovating. I’m also curious to learn more about how journalism works. That’s why I applied for an internship at Tech in Asia, where I could combine my passion for writing and technology.

I was lucky enough to be accepted into the editorial team, where I get to write news stories. Not only that, I’m having fun helping with the newsroom’s generative AI initiatives (check out our AI-written news summaries). These experiments have been rather fun, sometimes frustrating, but overall quite fruitful!
What’s next?
As part of my internship, I’d love to give you, the reader, a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes at Tech in Asia through an Instagram takeover and Ask Me Anything (AMA) session!
Yep, I’ll be taking over Tech in Asia’s Instagram account for a day to share what it’s like to work at the company. I’ll also answer any questions you might have about Tech in Asia, generative AI, or anything else you’re curious about.
How you can join me
If you’re interested in following my journey, head over to Tech in Asia’s Instagram account here.
I’ll be sharing my experiences there throughout the day. Do also keep a lookout for the AMA session. See you on IG!
