The company, which was established in August 2018, provides a digital asset storage and a digital platform that simplifies will writing services. It also allows users to pre-select beneficiaries who will be able to access their digital asset storage.
Queenie Chong, CEO and co-founder of Memori, said that the company aims to demystify a topic traditionally considered taboo in Southeast Asia. “With Memori’s technology, these issues can be addressed,” she said.
With the new funds, the company plans to grow its business in Brunei, Singapore, and Malaysia.
Memori is a participant in the fourth cycle of Brunei Darussalam Enterprise’s 100-day startup bootcamp, which ended in January. The program featured 30 early-stage businesses and was facilitated by Singapore’s Golden Equator.
