I-league LAN finals will not clash with WEC, DK likely to be replaced by Newbee
It looks like Chinese Dota 2 fans won’t have to worry about having to choose between the i-league and the World eSports Championship (WEC) LAN events, as ImbaTV has moved the i-league LAN finals date. The i-league LAN finals will now be held on September 25 to 28, 2014, at the Shanghai International Media Center. Its previous dates, September 5 to 7, clashed directly with WEC, which is set to take place on September 6 to 8.

I-league is a clash between Dota 2 teams from the East and the West. European teams Virtus.Pro and Power Rangers have been confirmed, while Korea and Southeast Asia have Rave as their representative. The Chinese qualifier matches are currently underway, and are set to be all the more interesting now that the teams’ rosters havebeen finalized as a result of The International 2014 (TI4) reshuffle.
Fan poll winner Team DK may not be attending the event, as it currently has no Dota 2 roster. It might be replaced by Team Newbee, which placed third in the fan poll. However, nothing official has been announced.
