The hottest VCs, corporates, and media at Tech in Asia Jakarta 2015

speeeddating-JKT-100

At Tech in Asia, we are always finding ways to help players in the tech ecosystem connect with each other. And that was how the idea of Startup-Investor Speed Dating, Office Hours, and Meet the Media was conceived.

Apart from helping to forge relationships between startups, investors, corporates, incubators, and the media, these sessions also provide startups with the opportunity to get the word out by pitching a unique business idea to them.

As more startups recognize the value of Speed Dating, Office Hours, and Meet the Media, they have since been a hallmark of all our Tech in Asia conferences. These segments are always recognizable by the long snaking queues formed at the start of the day, reflecting each participating startup’s enthusiasm and determination to pitch their unique business idea, even if just for five minutes.

Tech in Asia Jakarta 2015 recorded almost 500 individuals queueing for all three sessions on day 1. While the crowd abated slightly on day 2, there were still approximately 450 in the queue. So who were startups clamouring to meet?
