Congratulations to Hearthstone! The universe’s favorite online card game has dropped its diaper, donned its big boy pants, and has strode out into the world with its full release. Ladies and gentlemen, Hearthstone is now a real game!
There was little fanfare surrounding the progression from beta to full-release but that’s unsurprising considering that both the open and closed betas were the most successful I have been engaged in. The game received so much polish that the open beta never really felt like a beta to me.

That being said it’s great to see Blizzard close this prologue of Hearthstone’s life and finally start chapter one. I for one am intrigued to see what Blizzard has in store for us, although we do already have a few hints about the the future. Watch this space, the Hearthstone adventure has finally begun.
