Bossi joined the Temasek-backed firm as its deputy CEO in 2021. He used to be a managing director for The Hershey Company and general manager for Ferrero.
“We are on a mission to nourish one billion people with plant-based food, and I believe we already have the best in-class offerings in the market to make that happen, particularly seafood offerings designed for Asian palates,” said Bossi.

Growthwell, which produces plant-based food brand Happiee, said that it has also acquired a majority stake in ChickP. The Israel-based foodtech startup creates chickpea-based protein as a replacement for meat, dairy, and eggs. No financial details on the deal were disclosed.
“Geographical expansion is a key strategic pillar of our growth, and we have our eyes set on various markets in Asia and Europe,” Bossi added.
