Everyone Can Be a Web Hero with Google Chrome

Chrome

Google is ready to take a hot spot in Indonesia. After disclosing intentions to open an office in Indonesia, it is now actively campaigning its Google Chrome browser in the country.

Google highlights the Chrome campaign in Indonesia with the tagline “Jadikan Internet Seluas Kreasimu” (translated: make the Internet as wide as your creation), pluggin the browser as a creativity tool for a better Internet experience. Using various Google products like Gmail, Youtube, Blogspot, and many others, the company aims to make Chrome as a catalyst for all the web services under its umbrella.

Henky Prihatna, Google’s country consultant, pointed to some ‘web heroes’ such as Mieke Valencia Randa who was in the Google Chrome local TV commercial for Blood For Life, and also Ridwan Kamil and Shafiq Pontoh from @idberkebun. “We hope these web heroes could inspire more people to do the same,” he said during the Chrome launch party in Jakarta yesterday. This was the first time for Google to hold an event with the Indonesian public.
