One Championship parent game for US IPO

Group One Holdings, a sports media company, is looking at listing in the US through an IPO, Bloomberg reported.

The firm, which operates mixed martial arts platform One Championship, is already changing its headquarters from Singapore to the Cayman Islands to prepare for its market debut. It is reportedly informing Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority today.

The company had previously considered listing in the US by merging with a blank-check firm.

Group One last raised US$150 million in equity financing in December 2021, which brought its valuation to US$1.4 billion. The funds were used to diversify its content and expand beyond Asia.

Across its two platforms – One Championship and One Esports – Group One’s shows are broadcasted to over 150 countries.
