After 12 years of ‘clock building,’ Glints CEO steps down
Oswald Yeo is stepping down as CEO of Glints after holding the role since April 2013, according to a statement from the Singapore-based jobs recruitment platform. Yeo, who is also a co-founder of the company, will be succeeded by Dylan Huang.
Yeo tells Tech in Asia that handing over the CEO reins is a proactive move that involved Glints’ leadership team and board. “The process was structured and deliberate, and by the time we made the decision, it felt like a natural and well-supported next step,” he adds.

Huang joined the company in 2022 as chief technology officer and later became vice president of talent platform. Before Glints, he was a senior vice president at Meituan and held senior roles at Tencent.
The decision to name Huang as the new chief executive “evolved naturally over time” as he showed his leadership chops over the roughly three years he’s been with the company, Yeo says.
Huang also has a deep understanding of product and tech, ticking another box in Glints’ criteria for choosing its next leader.
Yeo, meanwhile, will become executive chairman of the company. He says that in this role, he will help Glints develop its long-term strategy and tap into new growth areas.
This leadership change is an indication of how the tech industry in Southeast Asia is maturing, as once-young companies like PropertyGuru and GoTo transition from being run by founders to being managed by professional CEOs.
On track for operational profitability
Starting out as a simple Google Form, Glints has evolved into a platform that bridges the gap between employers and job seekers – primarily young professionals – across Southeast Asia.
With over 400 staff, the company has become a “career discovery platform” and a holistic “talent ecosystem,” using job matching algorithms and personalization to create connections.

The shift in leadership comes as Glints regained revenue growth momentum in 2024. The company previously told Tech in Asia that it had also improved its bottom line last year, thanks to disciplined spending.
