Xiuzhu exposes Chen Shuyi on Weibo

Sina Weibo is an interesting place. Just a few months back, we reported on China’s answer to the Anthony Weiner scandal, in which a Chinese official flirted and made plans with his mistress via Weibo. But just last week another salacious “incident” made Weibo waves.

This time around, it was Mr. Chen Shuyi, the founder and CEO of online game company Ismole Inc., who found himself in the eye of the storm. Ismole is a game company that boasts local partners like Baidu, Renren, and Kaixin, and international partners like Facebook, Mixi, and DeNA.

Xiuzhu, a famous model and a member of the Asia Dolls band posted a screenshot showing a Weibo private message she received from Mr. Chen which reads:

Hi, I like your music style, you are a good singer and a very talented girl, and you are amazingly hot. May I please ask what do I need to do to get you into bed? Thanks honey!

She subsequently received three frantic apologies from Mr. Chen which implored her to delete the screenshot:

Big sister, I am wrong, please delete the message, and do not make me infamous, I would apologize to you sincerely.

Delete the message, please, I am begging you!

I have not offended you before, so please let go of this!

The three apologies were sent within two minutes. Xiuzhu was quick to react, again posting a screen capture (see below) and commenting:

You are assaulting the very dignity of a woman, do you have any idea?
