Indonesian edtech startup Gredu nets $4m in Intudo-led round
Gredu, an Indonesia-based edtech startup, announced it has raised US$4 million in its latest round.

- The company will use the fresh funds to expand outside of Greater Jakarta, accelerate product development, and recruit new talent.
- With K-12 education as its initial target, Gredu is now developing products to tap into new sectors, such as preschool and university programs.
- When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, it launched new features, including interactive classes and online assignments, to facilitate remote learning arrangements.
- According to the chief executive Rizky Aniez, the pandemic has increased the company’s sales as market awareness and demand increased. However, the social restriction that is implemented by the government has disturbed its traditional sales approach.
- It currently works with over 400 schools to help more than 400,000 users on its platform.
