In brief: Grab and Sinar Mas Land in smart city collaboration
Sinar Mas Land and Grab will establish a strategic partnership on technology development in BSD City.
Through this collaboration, Grab and Sinar Mas Land will announce a series of collaboration project plans to drive transformation in various life aspects of communities in BSD City as an integrated smart digital city.

The ride-hailing company will help develop mobility solutions for Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD City), a planned community in the Greater Jakarta region that the Indonesian government is touting as its answer to Silicon Valley.
Grab will set up an innovation and engineering lab in BSD City focused on mobility, while it will also establish a GrabFood “cloud kitchen” in the area. BSD will additionally become the headquarters for Grab Ventures’ accelerator program Velocity.
