The incubation program aims to empower projects and founders who need support in building decentralized apps (DApps). It will support builders on the BNB Chain, a decentralized blockchain platform. Some of the key projects backed by the program are MCDEX, Biswap, Deri Protocol, and WOO Network.
The fifth cohort will see developers across segments such as GameFi, decentralized finance, infrastructure, and metaverse within the BNB Chain ecosystem, said Gwendolyn Regina, investment director at BNB Chain.
Applications for the cohort are open until July 8, while the program will kick off on July 11.
Binance Labs added that its BNB Chain ecosystem has more than 1,300 active DApps. Since its launch in 2020, BNB Chain has processed more than 3 billion transactions from 163 million unique addresses.
Last week, Binance Labs invested an undisclosed sum in Cake, the utility and governance token of PancakeSwap, a decentralized exchange built on BNB Smart Chain.
