Yee succeeds Lim Kell Jay, who will now be co-chief of staff to the CEO as well as head of GrabFood Singapore.
Yee had assumed the country head role for Grab’s Philippines, Thailand, and Cambodia operations at various points in his four years with the ride-hailing company.
Prior to joining Grab, he was a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and oil and gas firm BP.
Lim will focus on growing GrabFood, which aims to be Singapore’s leading food delivery service by the first half of 2019.
