Startup Studio Indonesia (SSI), an accelerator program supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics, has opened applications for its seventh season.

Registration can be done directly on the program’s website.

SSI aims to help early-stage firms achieve product-market fit and scale up their businesses. It provides mentoring, coaching, product-market fit modeling, and networking opportunities for participating startups.

The mentors and coaches come from some of the most notable tech companies in Indonesia, such as Xendit, eFishery, IDN Times, Halodoc, and Bukalapak.

The accelerator targets startups that are at the pre-series A funding stage or earlier, have at least six months of traction with a 5% month-on-month growth, and the potential to scale up.

Since its launch in September 2020, SSI said its alumni companies have collectively secured US$65.8 million in funding from various VC firms.

The ministry’s target is to nurture 150 early-stage businesses by 2024, and it has already supported 97 startups throughout the six seasons of the program. The seventh cohort will accept 18 firms, bringing the total to 115.
