Donate to Japan Earthquake Relief Fund Via DBS Internet Banking

Singaporeans and all Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) customers take note. You can now donate to the ‘Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund’ through DBS’s i-banking system via the ‘bill payment’ section. DBS has added the Red Cross Japan Disaster fund as a billing organization to make donating convenient for all users. DBS customers are just a few clicks away from making a contribution. With donation scams lurking around on the Internet, DBS’s move also ensures that donors are contributing to the right organization.

Alternatively, DBS customers can contribute through DBS’s ATMs and AXS stations. You can also look for a suitable organization through this list. Last week, DBS estimated that Japan’s earthquake and tsunami would cost its economy US$100 billion, about 2 percent of its GDP.
