Under the partnership, Get drivers can open an SCB bank account at the Get Driver Training Center, giving them access to financial services such as loans and insurance.)
- Ride-hailing giant Gojek has received investment from Thailand’s Siam Commercial Bank, which has King Maha Vajiralongkorn as its biggest shareholder, according to a Bloomberg report that cited sources who asked not to be identified.
- The investment amount, however, is unclear, and both the bank and Gojek didn’t comment on the matter.
- A partnership will help the Indonesian unicorn improve its financial services, while Siam Commercial is counting on online growth to drive revenue up, the sources added.
