Indonesian conglomerate Astra International and ride-hailing giant Gojek officially launched Gofleet, an all-in mobility solution, during the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show.

Gofleet is the first product of a transport joint venture formed by the two companies earlier this year.
The solution will offer vehicle rental, maintenance, and insurance protection services, as well as vehicle monetization through advertising, for drivers of door-to-door online transportation services in Indonesia.
Gofleet plans to roll out “thousands” of vehicle units to be used by driver-partners in the Greater Jakarta area, then expand to other cities in Indonesia in the future, according to a statement.
The service is now open for registration to all prospective driver-partners and Gojek’s current Go-Car partners.
The joint venture was announced following Astra’s US$100 million injection in Gojek in March. It first invested in the Indonesian unicorn as part of its series E round in February 2018.
