Become a Chinese poker grand master with Big Dai Di’s new global leaderboard
The Big Dai Di game for iPhone and Android has just been updated with a global ranking system.
The mobile card game is based on the traditional Chinese card game called ‘big two’ (or ‘choh dai di’ Cantonese) which is similar to poker. The card game is played by many ethnic Chinese and has been passed down from generation to generation. Inevitably, it’s also a mobile game, and Big Dai Di offers multiplayer-friendly features allowing users to connect with friends or other players.
The addition of global leaderboard now lets players compete online for the title of “Dai Di Grandmaster,” thereby enriching the social elements within the game.

Playing the game myself, I found it to be fast-paced and addictive. The rules are simple to understand and the animations are clean. However, its main drawback is that it suffers from a lack of users. Playing Big Dai Di with the AI is enjoyable by itself, but without a sufficient number of players to compete with live, it’s difficult to take advantage of the multiplayer features, let alone a global leaderboard. When GiA tested the game, there were only four people online.

Big Dai Di is made by is made by Senja Solutions, a digital content firm based in the UK that has developed of games, apps, and digital campaigns for clients like LG and Bacardi.
Big Dai Di is available for free on iOS and Android with in-app purchases.
