Gojek, the Indonesian super app that forms one-half of GoTo Group, has introduced a series of food delivery partnerships across Singapore and Vietnam.
In Singapore, the firm has signed a long-term partnership with UK-headquartered Deliveroo to bring new offerings to both platforms.
For instance, Gojek users who take eight rides per month are eligible for S$8 (US$6.01) in Deliveroo vouchers. Deliveroo Plus Gold subscribers will also be given two 20% off Gojek vouchers per month.
The firms will also release co-branded voucher packs, which will be available for purchase on Gojek and ShopBack.
For new users on both platforms, they will receive two vouchers for Gojek rides and 14 days of free deliveries from Deliveroo. Meanwhile, corporate clients will be offered up to 100% off their service fees as well as additional rebates.
In Vietnam, Gojek announced that its food delivery feature, GoFood, is now available on payments app MoMo.
The partnership gives MoMo’s users in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City access to wider food options. It will also allow these customers to pay for and track orders and check order history through the app.
First-time users of this feature may also receive discount vouchers from August 7 to September 6 this year.
Gojek, which is most widely used in its home market of Indonesia, is looking to acquire more customers in other countries where competition from firms such as Grab, ShopeeFood, and Foodpanda is fierce.
