One Championship adds ex-Turner Broadcasting exec to board of directors in US push
Singapore-based Group One Holdings, the parent firm of mixed martial arts organization One Championship, has announced the appointment of David Levy to its board of directors.
Experience:
- Levy has spent around 40 years in the US sports media scene. His experience includes a three-decade stint at US conglomerate Turner Broadcasting, which owns CNN, Bleacher Report, and Cartoon Network, among others. He served as president at Turner for six years.
- He recently set up Back Nine Ventures, a sports consulting and investing firm. Levy is also the chairman of Genius Sports Group, a sports data analytics company, and senior advisor to The Raine Group and Arctos Sports Group.

- As lead director at One Championship, Levy will have a hand in developing the company’s strategy to expand its live events and content platforms.
- He will also help One Championship broaden its footprint in the US and other significant global markets.
