As the League of Legends Garena Premier League (GPL) reaches it’s midway point for the spring season, the number of matches has been increased to five per day bringing in more fights for the tournament’s last stretch in February.
The GPL’s third week will start this coming Wednesday, February 26 and will last until Friday the 28th. We are expecting some crazy matches from group A’s Bangkok Titans and Imperium Pro Team as well as, group B’s Neolution Esports Full Louis and the Manila Eagles because they have not won a single match ever this season. It’ll be interesting to see if they are hungry enough to bring something new to their matches or will they just burn out and be trampled by the other teams.
Meanwhile, it’ll also be interesting to see if GPL leaders, ahq e-Sports Club and Azubu Taipei Assassins maintain their winning streak or will they finally lose a match and prove that even the best can slip up sometimes.
