In brief: Game-streaming platform Douyu looks to raise $944m in US listing

  • Tencent-backed game-streaming firm Douyu International filed an initial public offering on the Nasdaq stock exchange to raise up to US$944 million, following the company turning a profit in the first quarter of the year, The Financial Times reported.
  • The company will offer 44.9 million new American depositary shares and 22.5 million of existing stock from current shareholders priced between US$11.50 and US$14 as part of the IPO.
  • At the low end, the listing would bring in US$775 million for Douyu, which falls above expectations of how much Douyu initially sought last year.
