Futurology: Ring Concept Will Turn Your Hands Into A Mobile Phone

Most of us should know the universal hand sign for “on the phone” or “give me a call”.

BCK, which collaborates with companies and organizations to transform ideas into products is going to literally turn that hand sign into a mobile phone.

How does it work?

The concept works similarly to bluetooth headsets: working with your mobile phone, you can receive calls via the color rings designed to be worn on your thumb (headset) and little finger (microphone). Besides, the ring concept also incorporates sensors that would allow you to receive calls simply by placing your hands close to your head (be careful with that one). This reminds me of my childhood, when we often use the universal hand sign as a real telephone in games.

That’s not all, this product is going to strut in style with several “color rings” for consumers to choose from.

In BCK’s description: “The color rings are an accessory for cell phones that are inspired in the gestural language of the use of the phone. It is conceived as an extension of the hand, which makes their use a more natural one, and more comfortable and more attractive as well.”

If this product is realized and brought to market, I will be the first to get it. But I guess unfriendly stares from strangers are expected when it is first launched!
