Shipping platform AfterShip banks $66m in Tiger Global-led round

Hong Kong’s AfterShip, an ecommerce shipping and tracking solutions provider, said it raised US$66 million in its latest fundraise.

  • Stage: Series B

  • AfterShip said it will use the new funds to hire talent globally, develop new ecommerce products, and continue its US market penetration.
  • The company claims to have been profitable since its launch in 2012 and says it handles more than 6 billion shipments annually through more than 740 partner carriers.
  • Its latest round follows its US$1 million series A raise in 2014 from IDG-Accel.
  • In addition to its shipping and tracking platform, AfterShip also offers post-purchase engagement products, sales and marketing solutions, and a mobile app.
