Through the partnership, Chope aims to provide end-to-end modules covering all aspects of the restaurant industry, enabling orders and payments at restaurants across Singapore to be done through its app.
Chope has over 9,000 restaurant partners across eight cities globally, and its platform enables them to set reservations, offer deals, upload menus, and manage tables.
Meanwhile, Singapore-based Getz is an ordering solution for F&B merchants that covers online food delivery, in-store ordering solutions, and point of sales systems, among others.
Arrif Ziaudeen, founder and CEO of Chope, said that with the integration of ordering and payments through partners like Getz, the company can provide more comprehensive offerings and better aggregate and digitize the food service market in Asia.
This deal follows Chope’s participation in hawker SaaS provider WhyQ’s series A round, which raised US$360,000 in November 2021.
In August 2021, Chope partnered with Alipay to enable F&B businesses to build their own mini apps on the former’s platform. The partnership also came with a capital injection of around US$15 million from the Chinese tech titan.
